Even though we’re not able to meet for a traditional family celebration, as always, our town centre’s will be full of seasonal warmth and good cheer to lighten the load.
If you’re in Bolton town centre look out for the four fantastic, festive Christmas trees all dressed to dazzle.
The lit up Town Hall and Victoria Square will add a splash of colour to the proceedings too, and keep your eyes peeled for the giant inflatable Santa as well as the traditional nativity scene both in new locations this winter.
It’s a great time to break free from the great indoors and step outside… so dust off the walking boots, pull on your warm outdoor clothes or running gear and take the family on hunt as part of Bolton’s 8 town’s trail – located on high streets in each of the 8 towns!

This is no ordinary Christmas and the fantastic Bolton spirit of goodwill has never been stronger, the town is full of Bolton Heroes and they’ve been showing their true rainbow colours this year. So show your appreciation and nominate someone you believe has made a real difference to you or those in need in our first ever ‘Bolton’s Heroes Awards’.
